EVERYTHING'S NORMAL WITH MY BLOOD TEST! yay! thanks everyone for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers!!!

waiting for the result

i'm supposed to hear from the dr today if i do have gestational diabetes or not. i will let you all know when i find out! i had to get my blood drawn 4 times yesterday over the course of 3 hours. no fun! all the "sticks" were good until the last one, when the girl decided to do it in a different vein--one that has never been "stuck" before---and it squirted onto my arm and she's like "oh this one was juicy!". then she tells me "i'm sorry i gave you a bruise...". well at least she KNEW she did and admitted to it. so i'm waiting for the pretty bruise to make it's appearance. i just hope Cash and I don't have diabetes because i'm most concerned about having to go on a "special" or "restricted" diet! i'm supposed to go to Mexico on friday people! i wanna eat what i wanna eat! :O)

Please think of me monday morning...May 19th. i have to go back to the dr for testing to see if i have gestational diabetes. apparently it's not because of anything i've done, or eaten....it just happens sometimes to pregnant people! if it turns out i have it then i have to go on a special diet (booooo!) and prick my finger everyday (i guess?). i have to sit at the dr's office for 3 hours getting my blood taken once an hour to make sure my body is breaking down the sugar as it should. thanks everyone! btw i'm 28 weeks today and my belly continues to get bigger and bigger. crazy to think i still have 12 weeks left and that means it's going to be whale sized when i give birth! :O)

27 Weeks today!

i think i'm 25 weeks in the blue shirt pics. yes, that says "baby bump" and yes i made it! :O) i made it during the "is she or isn't she" bump period. i wanted to make sure people knew i wasn't just "letting it go" haha! the next pic is me and Amber (pregnant, due 6 weeks after me!) at Cody and Lindsey's wedding shower. our first bump pic together :O) Robert calls us the "pregnasauruses" lol! the last pic is our house from the front. we planted the two little trees! i'll get some more pics up of the house after it's all decorated.

i just wanted to tell everyone that i AM going to put new pics up asap! i'm still working on getting high speed internet at my new home! apparently the only kind you can get on my street is via satellite. i'm going to ask the neighbor for the number to the place they use, she said it's super fast! i go to the dr on friday for the blood sugar test thing they do when you are preg. i hope i "pass" and don't have to go back and re-test...i hear you have to stay at the office for hours, getting your blood drawn every hour? something like that. my belly is growing! Cash moves around alllll day and night. i love that little guy, can't wait to be holding him! i know that will be here so soon, and that time will continue to fly (even more!) once he is born! our new house is really pretty. we still do not have a dining room table, or curtains on all the windows. mainly got mini blinds put up where necessary (ie: bedroom and bathroom!). (what does "ie" mean???) my next post i promise to put new pics...new belly and house stuff. sooner than later!
