Christmas and Birthdays

so, in case you are one of the many who have not heard yet....i am PREGNANT! as indicated by the proof from the top photo. :O) i am currently 9 weeks and 4 days according to the doctors. i had a sonogram on Dec. 26th, 2007, which was also my 33rd year of life! what a special birthday i have had the last two years. in 2006 i was proposed to! we got married on 9-8-07, and then pregnant a couple of months later. then birthday 2007....we got to hear our baby's heartbeat! this was amazing. that little baby in there, only 1.2 cm big at the time, has a heart going at 154 bpm (somewhere around there!)!!! to hear that sound is almost undescribable. i almost felt like i was having an out of body experience it was so UNREAL! then we got 3 little views of our baby. it was all i could do to hold it together and not break down sobbing all day long! by now my body is starting to grow a little! unfortunately, though i lost much poundage from my frame, i still had residual squishy tummy syndrome. now that the baby is making room in there....it now just looks like i'm getting fat! :O) i suppose unless you get lipo--or do 10,000 crunches a day--that squishy tummy is there to stay! we will be finding out what the baby "is" when that time comes. i could wait it out and be surprised but Jon cannot wait to find out! i said we didn't need "pink or blue, just tell everyone to buy green stuff!". well, it probably will have lots of green clothing....it probably doesn't have a chance there. i'm pretty sure it's bedroom will be greenies and browns of some sort! ok, enough baby talk for the moment. i'd like to point out that i did buy a tree (big 3 footer!) and lights for our apartment this year. i'm pretty sure it's a whopping 480 square feet (the apt we live in). anyway, i think it turned out cute! so there ya go, me and Jon, our first "married" Christmas! btw, Jon's birthday is tomorrow, Jan 12. He is going to be 27! we give thanks to our Lord for all His blessings, we cannot begin to imagine them all.
