So....not much goin on here! I tell Cash "NO" all the time, since he wants to pull cords and plug-ins out of the wall, etc. I'm still working full time and enjoying it. Jon's job is starting to pick up after a couple of scary months in the oil field. They had a few lay-offs at his yard and thankfully he still has his job! I'm planning Cash's first b-day party and baby showers for Lindsey and Jess! I'm super excited! As you see from the pics, Cash and I went and visited Beau Baby and Kate last sat and had a great visit! Why are all my friends at LEAST 60 minutes from me? I miss you all, and my family too...since my family is the same situation. We all live way far away from each other! Meemaw came over last Monday and watched Cash while I worked. They had a great time as always, and Meemaw brought Cash all sorts of goodies! Again, we are so thankful!!! Have a wonderful day everyone!

Bunny Pics?

I realize Easter is well past us. :) I also realized this morning I have a few minutes to spare, and I hadn't shared Cash's bunny pics! My sister the budding photographer took these. That is her bunny, Hermoine! My dad saw these pics and said "that bunny looks almost real." I said, it IS real dad! see how in every picture the bunny is in a different position...LOL!! He so silly.

In other news....

Cash is a quick crawler and he pulls up now! He's also trying to start the "crusing" phase. This is happening too fast!! He babbles "mama" "dada" "baba"...I'm pretty sure he doesn't put the words "with" us yet...most of the time he will say "dada" with me and vice-versa.

My job is going good, I work a lot and it's fun for the most part. Still learning new things! I don't have much news other than that...I'd like to give shout-outs to the following peeps:

I probably sound like a broken record BUT.....I can't wait to hold the new babies!!! I told Jon while we were out to dinner that I had become "one of them. a mom." you know how we are...no matter where, no matter who's baby it is, whether we know the ppl or not...we are like "OMGOSH LOOK AT THE TINY BABY!!" and stare at the baby! Now I understand, and I'm so thankful that God gave Cash to us!

Where does the time go?

I know, i know, we all say it. "enjoy them now because they grow up SO fast." Where did that little bitty baby go? It was just (shy of) 9 months ago we brought him in our house for the first time, and we didn't know where to put him! LOL Jon was like "what do I do with him?" i was like, "I don't know? put him in the bedroom?" haha! I'm already thinking about his first birthday party!!? gee whiz! This boy is really getting around too. He semi-crawls and he's getting pretty fast at that. He is real good at sitting up. Sometimes it seems like he just wants to skip the crawling and stand up and walk around, like we do. For all my friends who are pregnant right now...I can't wait to meet the new little ones!!! I know you are all ready to meet them too, but I get to live vicariously through you all :) Cashy is excited to have new 'cousins' too! It won't be long, so hang in there! In case you missed an email from me, I entered Cash in the Parents magazine cover contest. Yes, he and 12 million other babies are entered. If he wins we go to NYC for a photo shoot (and it would just "happen" to be his birthday week!). I'll keep you all posted, it will be a while before we know if he makes the first round (of top 40?). What can I say, he's a dreamer already!

A late Easter post!

Here's a few cuties from Easter weekend! Some of you (or all...) have probably seen these pics already in the email I just sent out. But hey, gotta put pics on the blog. Always! :) I dyed and decorated the eggs....just cuz I wanted to! I think they are so pretty! Of course after I took the pics of Cash and his easter basket I made deviled eggs out of them.

Who came up with calling them "deviled eggs"?? does that even make sense?

Back to updates...

I am enjoying my job! or jobs? I have 2 bosses, and 3 locations I run around to. Thankfully all 3 places are on the same road, and Cash's daycare is in the middle of all! I can be to get him within 5 minutes. Or less! He has adjusted well, and I have too. I didn't even cry when I left him. Hard to believe? I know. :) I get to do fun stuff like: open mail, pay bills, inventory, call dell computers and stay on the phone for hours, make labels, set up meetings, etc! yeah, your basic "office-y" stuff!

oh yeah...and the earliest I've had to be at work was 9! sleeping later? that's always a plus! :)

Change is a comin'

So....tomorrow I start working for our friends Rustin and Michelle. Full time. doing what? not really sure. something computery/book-keepingish. yes i realize those aren't real words but my blog, my words :O) Cash is going to daycare. I'm ok with this, just kinda sad today thinking about it. I am so thankful I have had these 8 months to spend all day everyday with him!!! I'm also glad for the facts that Amber's little girl--Aubrey--goes there, and I know one of the workers. She, Amber, and the owner of the daycare all went to high school together. Rainy Wednesday

Cash update time :) he's almost crawling? He rocks when I put him on his hands and knees, and he can go backwards but hasn't figured out the other way yet. His bottom two teeth are coming thru now, I can actually feel the tips. He weighs just under 22 lbs and he's 28 inches (maybe more by now!). He's now wearing 12 month in clothes.

I've had a lot of people on my mind in prayer. All the babies that are currently forming....Jessica's, Lindsey's, Kelly's, Lauren's, Cyndee's, Kate's, Liz's, Heidi's...(did i get them all? lol)...dear friends at church for tough stuff they are going thru, Jon's job (having layoffs), Jessica and Brandon (for actually going thru that at the moment).....and numerous others all run circles in my mind through the day! I'm so thankful for SO much. So blessed, so undeserving. I praise God that He is truly in control of all things, and that He is so gracious.

What do YOU do at 4 in the morning?

alright, so it's actually 5:15 now, but i've been up since....oh, 3:30 or so? Cash coughs constantly unless I hold him in an upright position. Which is what I'm doing at the moment so that he can sleep well! I can't really sleep either, since I have been coughing 24/7 for over a week. I have a Z-pack that I'm in the middle of but the cough seems to wanna stay. So to pass the time while awake at this crazy hour, I have been on myheritage.com playing with the celebrity look-alike feature. I have tried it with 4 different pictures and get Tara Reid on all of them. Ok, so minus her peircing blue eyes, I do see the facial structure resemblance. Kelly Clarkson came up one time, as did "the Rock" Dwayne Johnson. Sweet. I look like a boy. OH and Regis Philbin! HA! Others that were noted: Sara Evans, Debra Messing, Jessica Biel, Josie Maran, Carrie Underwood, Rebecca Gayheart, and a few actresses I've never heard of! Your thoughts please!
